COATING MATERIAL DISCHARGE CONTROL DEVICE

PURPOSE:To carry out high-quality coating at a low cost and change color easily by storing coating material for each cycle only in a cylindrical container between a coating source and a coating gun and arranging a coating space in the container communicating with outlet an inlet ports at the lower limit position of a piston. CONSTITUTION:A required quantity of coating material to one subject to be coated is taken out of a coating source and stored in a coating material storing space 21 of a cylindrical container 15. By moving a piston 17 mounted on the cylindrical container 15 forward and backward through opening and driving means of valves 26 and 28 installed in front and rear of the cylindrical container 15, the coating material stored in the cylindrical container 15 can be discharged out of a coating gun 12. As a result, the coating material is stored in the container 15 and discharged only when needed for coating to eliminate the necessity of a gear pump and the like. Also, in the case of color change, the piston 17 is moved fully forward by the driving means to allow washing solution to flow to outlet and inlet ports 19 and 20 through the coating material storing space 21.
