DOOR FITTING METHOD FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To perform the door fitting work correctly and quickly by rotating a door in one direction centering a door standard pin (standard hole) coupled with a standard hole (standard pin) provided on the hinge fixing section of a body so that the sweep lines of the door and body match. CONSTITUTION:A door 11 (A-D) in a door stock area is clamped and shifted with a shift mechanism and is put on the door opening of a body 10 on a car body assembly line. A material handling jig is shifted so that the rear door 11 is rotated in one direction by the shift mechanism centering a positioning pin 27 and a positioning hole 28 relatively provided on the hinge fixing section 10b of the body and the hinge of the door 11, a sweep line 10c at the rear of the body 10 is detected by the sweep line sensor of a material handling jig, and the sweep line 11c of the rear door is made to match this sweep line 10c. Under this condition, hinges of the door 11 are fixed to hinge fixed sections of the body 10 with bolts. That is, the positioning work of the sweep line can be performed quickly and correctly.
