Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a plane mounting type display device of small outside dimensions by arranging a liquid crystal display element and a printed circuit board so that end parts provided with connection terminals of the former face end parts opposite to end parts provided with connection terminals of the latters. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal display element 1 and printed circuit board 2 are juxtaposed and are connected by film connectors 3, and end parts provided with connection terminals 2a of printed circuit boards 2 are not arranged adjacently to end parts provided with connection terminals 1a of the liquid crystal display element 1 but the opposite end parts of printed circuit boards 2 are arranged there. That is, the liquid crystal display element 1 and printed circuit boards 2 are so arranged that connection terminals 1a of the former are distant from connection terminals 2a of the latters. As the result, most of film connectors 3 is put on printed circuit boards 2, and mounting dimensions of film connectors 3 are almost ignored, and device dimensions are reduced by mounting dimensions of film connectors 3 to make a product compact.
