Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the titled fiber for decoration, etc., consisting of a composition prepared by containing a perylene based fluorescent dye in a polyalkylene terephthalate based polyester and having high fluorescent intensity as well as excellent feeling and producible with good fiber productivity. CONSTITUTION:The aimed fiber obtained by spinning a composition prepared by containing >=0.001wt%, preferably >=0.005wt% perylene based fluorescent dye in a polyalkylene terephthalate, e.g. polyethylene terephthalate, or a polyester consisting essentially thereof. The above-mentioned fiber is preferably used as a decorative fabric such as moquette in which cross section of the fiber is exposed to the surface thereof.
