PURPOSE:To reduce the number of times of interruption of transaction processing and the number of times in taking-out and supply of paper money by an operator, by installing a subcash box which is continuous to a storing part for temporarily storing the received paper money. CONSTITUTION:If switches SW4-SW6 are in turned-ON state, it is judged that cash boxes 2a-2c are full of paper money. At this time, the inside of a subcash box 4 is opened to a transport passage 6c, and paper money is transported from the cash boxes 2a-2c. The paper money is accommodated into the subcash box 4. If the switches SW1-SW3 are in turned-ON state, it is judged that one of the cash boxes 2a-2c is in vacant state. At this time, the inside of the subcash box 4 is opened to the transport passage 6c, and the paper money accommodated in the subcash box 4 is attached with rollers 32 and 33 under a certain pressing force. In this way the rollers 32 and 33 are revolved to carry out the paper money in the subcash box 4 into the cash boxes 2a-2c, and the paper money necessary for the next money delivery transaction is accommodated into the cash boxes 2a-2c.
