INCOMING CALL TRANSFER SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATIC EXCHANGE

PURPOSE:To change an incoming transfer destination subscriber number by allowing a telephone set other than a telephone set registered for incoming transfer service to designate a telephone set registered for incoming transfer service. CONSTITUTION:When a subscriber A revises a subscriber number of an incoming call transfer destination from a nearby telephone set B at a visiting location, for example, the telephone set B is hooked off and subscriber number SUB1 of th caller A and a new transfer destination subscriber number TR2 are dialed in succession to a special number '1XY' of the remote incoming call transfer request. When a central controlunit 7 detects a call from the telephone set B, the unit 7 discriminates the call to be a remote incoming call transfer service request based on the special number 'IXY' and transfers the subscriber number SUB1 of the caller A and the new transfer destination subscriber number TR2 to a storage device 8. The storage device 8 refers to subscriber data in a control memory 20 to collate the caller number SUB1 to erase the storage content TR1 relating thereto and to store the new incoming transfer destination subscriber number TR2 in 1 the same storage area.
