DISK FIXING MECHANISM

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of a clamper for fixing a disk, and to thin a device by providing a bearing held by an elastic plate spring, in the center of a turntable. CONSTITUTION:In the center of a turntable 2 fixed to a spindle shaft 1, a bearing 4 is held by an elastic plate spring 3. The bearing 4 performs the entry convenience and positioning functions of a hole of a disk 5-a being in the course of loading, the plate spring 3 is deformed to the inside, and also, the bearing 4 rotates and the disk 5-a is dropped to the turntable surface, and by the recovery of the plate spring 3, the disk 5-a is inserted and held by the bearing 4 and the turntable 2. In such a way, a clamper for fixing the disk becomes unnecessary, and an arm operating area for moving up- and down its clamper is also unnecessary, therefore, a device can be thinned.
