PACK WIRE FOR WELDING

PURPOSE:To provide welding with high accuracy by preparing a pack wire for welding through accommodation as stacked in a cylindrical container while given a twist of approx. 360 deg. per turn, and retaining the twist angle round the axis, when the pack wire is drawn up from said container, below a specified value. CONSTITUTION:One end of a welding wire 1 is fixed to the wire winding start end 3b mounted on a fixture 9 inside a cylindrical accommodator (pail pack), and a twist of approx. 360 deg. per turn is given and stacked through a through hole 7 in a hold plate 2. The weight of hold plate 2 is set according to the type of wire 1. When the wire pullout end 3a is drawn out from a hole at the top of said pail pack prior to welding, the twist angle round the wire axis per 500mm long wire 1 shall be retained below 90 deg.. This prevents generation of kink because of hopping-out of wire 1 to contribute to prevention of the welding torch from swinging at the tip, which should provide high precision welding.
