SPRING LOCKING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To enable errorless locking of a spring, in a spring locking device for locking a spring having lock rings at the opposite ends to lock pins, by locking the spring to the lock pins only through open/close operation of a member for locking the spring. CONSTITUTION:When a locking member 8 is moved downward so as to face a locking section 17 with a lock ring 16 and an arm open/close device is opened, an open/close arm 1 opens to elongate a spring 15 slightly so as to lock the spring 15 to the locking member 8. When a locking member open/close device 12 is operated with the lock ring 15 facing above locking pins 18, 19, a guide pin 9 is guided by an elongated hole 6 to move the right/left locking members 8 to the right/left, while since the locking section 17 contacts with the outside sections of said pins 18, 19, the locking members 8 are brought into inlined V-shaped attitude. The spring 15 slips down with its shrinking force from the locking section 17 at narrower side and the lock ring 16 moves to the locking pins 18, 19, thus the spring 15 being locked to said pins 18, 19.
