Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To prevent a state, in which speed control becomes impossible, by supplying air to both pressure operating chambers so that the piston takes the neutral position, exhausting the air from both pressure operating chambers and then supplying throttled air to one of the operating chambers. CONSTITUTION:Pressure operating chambers 14 and 15 are connected to directional control valves MVA, and MVB. Both chambers 14 and 15 are also connected to a pressurized air tank 72. A speed control valve MVS, when it is turned on, throttles the air via an orifice 73 so that an actuator speed becomes controllable. When the actuator is in operation, the directional control valves MVA and MVB are turned on, and the piston is moved to the neutral position. Next, after an interval of, for example, 50ms during which time both valves are kept turned on, both valves MVA and MVB are turned off. Then, after an interval of, for example, 100ms, the air in the operating chamber is discharged, thereby turning the pressure in the chamber into the atmospheric pressure. Next, the speed control valve MVS is turned on, and supply of throttled air to the pressure operating chamber 14 is started. At the same time, the directional control valve MVA is turned on, and the piston 11 is moved leftward. Accordingly, the throttled air can be supplied to one of the pressure operating chambers 14 and 15, after the air in both chambers has completely been discharged. |
