Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To produce the title molding material excellent in heat resistance, chemical resistance, impact resistance and flow in melt processing, by treating a polyamide block copolymer with a specified nucleophilic agent. CONSTITUTION:A lactam (e.g., epsilon-caprolactam) is anionically polymerized in the presence of a high-molecular activator (e.g., carbonyl-caprolactam-terminated polymethylene glycol) to obtain a polyamide block copolymer of a specific surface area >=20cm /g. This copolymer is treated by the addition of at most 2,000mol, per one terminal functional group of the high-molecule activator, of a nucleophilic agent having at least one active hydrogen (e.g., methylamine) and, optionally, a weakly basic compound (e.g., trimethylamine) of a pKb of 3-10 within 5hr at a temperature in the range of 0 deg.C to the m.p. of the polyamide block copolymer. |
