AUDIO INFORMATION REPRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To attain reproduction processing by extracting an audio information signal from an output signal of a delay circuit based on an extracting gate signal so as to apply reproduction processing thereby attaining sure extraction even if a short missing takes place at a part such as a trailing edge part of a start identification signal. CONSTITUTION:The leading edge and trailing edge of the start identification signal outputted from a delay circuit are detected when the effect of missing of the reproduced RF signal is not imposed by using leading/trailing edge detection circuits 15, 16 based on a detection time setting gate signal of a detection gate signal generating circuit and a missing detection signal of a missing detection section 28. Then an extraction gate signal is generated based on the leading/trailing edge detection signal of both the detection circuits 15, 16 by an extraction gate signal generating circuit 27, and an audio information outputted from a delay circuit is extracted based on the said gate signal to apply reproduction processing. Thus, even if the detection of either f the leading edge or the trailing edge of the start identification signal is disabled due to missing, the extraction gate signal is accurately formed by the detection of the other and the reproduced audio information is accurately extracted to apply reproduction processing.
