Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a vacuum slide valve, in particular for use in dusty atmospheres. The vacuum slide valve (2) has a slide valve housing (1) in which the slide valve can be moved into an open position and into a closed position. In the closed position, a sealing surface of the slide valve abuts from the inside against a sealing ring (13) inside the slide valve housing, which sealing ring surrounds an opening, constructed in the slide valve housing wall (4), which is to be closed. The sealing surface of the slide valve is provided with at least one circumferential sealing cutter (26, 27) which projects from the sealing surface and, in the closed position, presses against the sealing ring.
