AUTOMOBILE WINDOW

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the sound of passing wind at the time of opening a window by making the front part of an window glass move toward the inside of a body while its rear part move toward the outside by the action of a rotating arm along a guide rail, when said window glass is moved rearward at the time of opening a window. CONSTITUTION:A side door 3 opens a door opening formed on a body 2 by moving a slide door 5 for closing the door opening rearward. In this side door 3, a door window 10 in which a sheet of window glass 13 for opening/closing an opening 11 which is supported by he opening edge 12 of the opening 11 is opened and closed by means of a closing device 14, is provided on the upper part of the slide door 5. A pair of upper and lower guide rails 19 are installed on the opening edge 12 via a frame body 16, and the front end of the window glass 13 is fitted to the guide rails 19 rotatably around a vertical axis and longitudinally movably. A rotating arm 25 is provided rotatably in the width direction on the halfway part in the longitudinal direction of the window glass 13, and the rotating end of this rotating arm 25 is longitudinally movably fitted in the guide rail 19.
