Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To numerically determine the activity of the skin in a short period by rubbing away a horny substance layer from the skin by specified rubbing force and detecting the transmission of an aq. soln. prepd. by dissolving said layer. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical body 1 is pressed to the skin by utilizing the elastic force of a spring 3 and the aq. soln. is injected through a liquid injection port 7 into the cylindrical body 1. A motor 6 is run to rub the skin by a tip 5a of a blade 5. The rubbing away of the skin is executed by moving the blade 5 inch by inch upward and downward and controlling the torque of the blade 5 on the skin to a constant torque. After the blade 5 is rotated for the specified time, the blade 5 is raised and the luminous flux by a light emitting diode 11 is projected into the aq. soln. The quantity of the light transmitted therethrough is measured by a photodetector 13 and an inverse logarithmic computation is made by an inverse logarithmic amplifier 15. The activity of the skin is read by an indicator 16.
