DRIVE COIL BODY FOR MAGNETIC BUBBLE MEMORY DEVICE

PURPOSE:To facilitate the assembling by applying insert-molding an XY drive coil for generating a rotating magnetic filed into an insulation resin, providing a throughhole inserting and containing a bubble memory chip in the resin body and a recessed part accommodated with a bias magnet plate to the outer surface of the resin body so as to constitute the drive body. CONSTITUTION:The resin body 71 of the drive coil body 70 is formed to be a cylindrical body provided with a titled throughhole 72 accommodated with a chip assembly 50, the recessed part 73 accommodated with a magnetic compensation plate 90 and a magnetic plate 91 at the outer surface above and below the cylinder and a lead wire 64 being an input/output terminal of coils 60-63 formed by insert-molding is led out to the outer side face of both ends. The magnetic compensation plate 90 and the magnetic plate 91 are accommodated in the recessed part 73 of the drive coil body 70 and shield case 92 is inserted, and the magnetic plate 91 is magnetized by applying an external magnetic field so as to be a desired bias magnetic field and then the drive coil body 70 is manufactured. Since the drive oil body and the bias magnet or the like are assembled as the unit in addition to the bubble memory chip, the assembling work is reduced and high reliability is attained.
