Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To reduce the running cost of an apparatus and enhance sealing proper ties by providing an antomatic scraping device for adhered substances adhered to the inner wall of a condenser for distilling ethylene glycol in a polyester continuous polymerization apparatus. CONSTITUTION:High-temperature ethylene glycol glycol generated in a polymerization device is guided into a condenser, and after heating up by an outer peripheral jacket of a T-shaped vapor inlet nozzle 2, straightly makes a vapor- liquid contact with low-temperature ethylene glycol pouring on the inside of the condenser main body in the form of a liquid membrane at the root section of the vapor inlet nozzle 2. At that time, components entrained and adhered to are scraped off by rotating and transferring a piston rod 3 equipped with a scraping vane 4 at the end. Thus, adhesives are removed automatically without causing any problems in sealing properties.
