DRAIN WATER DISPOSAL DEVICE FOR PACKAGED AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE:To prevent water condensation on a substrate and also prevent staining or damaging the window and wall of a chamber in which the main body of a device is installed by providing, near the drain water outlet section for the drain water from the indoor side to the outdoor side of a water receiving tray, part of a condenser outlet piping so as to make the part contact the base. CONSTITUTION:Near the drain water outlet section 19 for the drain water flowing from the indoor side to the outdoor side of a water receiving tray part of the outlet piping 13 of a condenser is provided so as to make the part contact a base 5. With this arrangement even if very cold drain water flows out from the drain water outlet section 19 of the water receiving tray, the water flow at once comes in contact with the condenser outlet piping 13 which is provided to contact the base 5 to raise the temperature of the drain water. As a result no condensation occurs by cooling the substrate with cold drain water and there is no need to provide newly a special part of a heat insulating material to be pasted on the base 5. And, it is possible to prevent staining the appearance of the window and wall of a chamber in which the main body of a packaged air conditioner is installed with the condensation water or damaging them.
