INTERNAL POLISHING METHOD FOR SMALL DIAMETRAL PIPE

PURPOSE:To make polishing efficiency and accuracy improvable, by inserting proper numbers of an elastic abrasive piece, slightly larger than an inside diameter, into a small diametral pipe, blowing compressed air alternately from both ends, and moving it between end parts alternately. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of an almost cylindrical erethane elastic abrasive piece 12 having a slightly larger outside diameter than the inside diameter are inserted into a pipe 10, compressed air is blown in from in from openings 14 and 14 at both ends alternately, and these elastic abrasive pieces 12 are reciprocated inside the pipe 10 by dint of the pressure, whereby polishing against an inner surface of the pipe 10 takes place. thus, polishing can be done uniformly and favorably over the whole inner surface of the pipe so that polishing accuracy and efficiency are effectively improved.
