HEATING METHOD FOR VACUUM DEGASSING VESSEL

PURPOSE:To efficiently and stably execute heating in a vacuum chamber by introducing combustion gas from one end of a submerged tube, circulating in a vacuum degassing chamber, heating refractories at the upper and lower chambers and exhausting from the other end of submerged tube. CONSTITUTION:A burner 10 is arranged at lower part of one end of a submerged tube 5 to the vacuum degassing chamber 1 and the gas 11 and air 12 are burnt by this burner 10 under condition of closing an exhaust valve 7. Combustion gas generated is circulated in the inner part of vacuum degassing chamber 1 through the submerged tube 5 and after drying the refractory 2 and raising the temp., the gas is exhausted from an exhaust duct 9 through the other submerged tube 6. In this way, the pressure adjustment in the chamber is accurately executed and the biased heating of refractory is prevented by raising the heating efficiency.
