DISPLAY APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To read accurate quantity by a numeral and to simultaneously determine the range, to which said quantity belongs, by the hue of the numeral, by dividing the figures digitally displayed of change quantity into a plurality of colors in a plurality of change quantity ranges to display the same. CONSTITUTION:Display patterns I, II respectively display the units digit and the tens digit and the display pattern of the hundreds or more digit is omitted and each of the display patterns is constituted of 7 segments (a)-(g). The segments are composed of the combinations of red and green color segments a1-g1, a2-g2 respectively developing red and green colors. The number-of- rotation signal of an engine number-of-rotation sensor is counted by a number-of- rotation counting circuit 1 and the signal (n) thereof is compared with a preset value by a number-of-rotation discriminating circuit 2 to operate only one of red and green color segment driving circuits 3, 4 or to simultaneously operate both of them. Corresponding to this, figures are formed from a red color, a green color and an orange color being a mixture thereof to be displayed.
