Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To simplify a joining operation and to reduce the cost of a brazed product by tentatively bonding a joint member, mounting piece, etc., to the prescribed position on the surface of an iron or steel pipe subjected to copper plating to an adequate thickness and subjecting the same to heating and brazing to a prescribed temp. in a furnace. CONSTITUTION:The outside surface of the iron or steel pipe 1 is plated 3 with the copper to about 5-100mum, more preferably 10mum thickness. The joint member 2 is tack welded by spot welding to the prescribed position of the iron or steel pipe 1. The pipe is inserted into the inert atmosphere furnace and is brazed by preheating to about 700 deg.C and heating to about 1,200 deg.C brazing temp. The laborious labor and time needed for the conventional preplaced filler metal method are omitted and the joining operation is simplified, by which the cost of the product is reduced. |
