MANUFACTURE OF TOOTH-SHAPED MAGNETIC POLE MEMBER

PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a tooth-shaped magnetic pole member being fine and with high accuracy, by a method wherein a required tooth-shaped portion is attached directly to a plating surface of the magnetic member. CONSTITUTION:A paint film 13 is formed on the entire surface of a T-shaped metal substrate 11 except a plating surface 11a. A wire member 12 of non- plating property with suitable wire diameter corresponding to a required tooth- shaped portion is wound closely on the metal substrate 11. When the T-shaped metal substrate 11 with the wire member 12 wound thereon is immersed in a plating bath and electric plating of a magnetic metal is performed, plating to the plating surface 11a is performed and electric casting of the magnetic metal is performed to a space surrounded by the plating surface 11a and the wire member 12 thereby a plating layer 15 is formed. Finally the wire member 12 wound on the metal substrate 11 is removed and the plating layer 15 of the magnetic metal plated on the plating surface 11a is ground in parallel to the plating surface 11a thereby the required tooth-shaped portion is formed.
