CASSETTE COVER DEVICE

PURPOSE:To open a cassette cover with a light force by using a spring not having a drawing-in function as a pushup spring of a tape cassette and forming incorporatedly a rib in a common use with the loading of a tape cassette to the mechanism to the cassette cover. CONSTITUTION:In loading the tape cassette to the mechanism, the tape cassette is loaded while being enclosed by a lead rib 3 of the cassette cover 1, guided by a drawing-in under-cut of a reference pin 7 and insert to a capstan pin 6. In this case, pushup force of the mechanism to the head acts on the tape cassette by a pushup spring 9, the position of the tape cassette is restricted by the rib 4 provided to the cassette cover 1 and the tape cassette is loaded to the mechanism by the retaining spring 2 provided to the cassette cover 11.
