Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To lighten the shock due to the suspension of fuel feed in deceleration of an engine by setting the delay time for the start of the suspension of fuel feed according to the state of the engine immediately before the detection of deceleration state, when the deceleration state is detected. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection valve 6 is installed into a suction pipe 2 between an engine 1 and a throttle valve 3, and the valve opening time in fuel injection is controlled by the signal supplied from an electronic control unit 5. When the ECU 5 detects the deceleration state, if an engine is in acceleration state immediately before the detection of the deceleration state, the delay time for the start of the suspension of fuel feed is set longer. Thus, the shock due to the stop of fuel feed in deceleration of engine can be lightened.
