CONTINUOUS FORMING METHOD FOR GRANULAR BODY

PURPOSE:To ensure the separation of an individual by eliminating a land by forming the recessed groove for forming by providing triangular projecting bars in a row on the peripheral face of a pair of forming rolls and by turning the roll by overlapping the tip of each projecting bar. CONSTITUTION:The peripheral recessed groove 15 for compression forming is formed by providing the peripheral projecting bar 14 with triangular cross section in a row at regular intervals on the peripheral face of a pair of forming rolls 1, 2. They are located in opposition in the positional relation that the tip part 14b of the peripheral projecting bar 14 on which both rolls 1, 2 are opposed is overlapped. A continuous long-sized compressed belt like body A4 is formed by the turn of rolls 1, 2 by feeding the granular body A inside the space extending over the peripheral recessed groove 15 where both rolls 1, 2 which became in a closed state by this roll arrangement are opposing. In this case, each particle of the granular body A moves into the forming space in a straddling along either of each inclined face 14a. Consequently no ground part forming a land is caused and each belt like body A4 is completely separated to cause no chain belt relation.
