TRANSMISSION END NOTICE SYSTEM IN FACSIMILE STORE AND FORWARD EXCHANGE

PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a communication network via a facsimile store and forward exchange by informing the end of transmission or unarrived transmission to a sender in voice after a text is sent from the facsimile store and forward exchange to a destination terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:After the facsimile store and forward exchange 1 receives and stores a text from a facsimile terminal equipment 3, when the transmission is finished to a facsimile terminal equipment 5 or the transmission is not reached according to the standard of the text store and forward exchange 6 regardless of the trial of transmission, a telephone set 5 at the transmission side is called and the transmission end or unreached transmission is noticed in voice from a message generator 7. When the information such as transmission end of unreached transmission, destination number, terminal equipment number at the sender and store and forward end time of text is sent from the text store and forward exchange 6 to a destination analyzer, the destination analyzer retrieves a telephone number of the sender to send the information such as transmission end or unreached transmission, destination number and store and forward end time to a communication controller.
