Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To convey a sheet material in a way of accurate handling, by installing a chuck mechanism which has a pair of chuck jaws installed closable and installed in at least two spots in a chuck body. CONSTITUTION:When pressure air is fed to the inside of a plunger chamber 15, making a plunger 16 go forward, and a tip of the plunger 16 is thrust in a rear surface of chuck jaws 13A and 13B, these jaws 13A and 13B rotates centering on a fulcrum pin 14, and the rear part of these chuck jaws 13A and 13B is expanded open against a tension spring 21, and simultaneously the tip end of these chuck jaws 13A and 13B is closed whereby a sheet material 1 is chucked by these chuck jaws 13A and 13B via a rubber devices 20A and 20B, making it holdable. Afterward, an air cylinder 11 is operated, and when a chuck body 5 is made to go forward via a piston rod 12, the sheet material 1 can be easily taken out in the state that the sheet material 1 is secured by these chuck jaws 13A and 13B.
