OPERATING METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To enhance the loading/unloading operation by adjusting the running speed of each unmanned truck counter-proportionally on the basis of input/ output time of a stacker crane. CONSTITUTION:When an operational command is given so as to transport cargo between a stacker crane 6 and an unmanned truck 3(3a, 3b), first the time t1 necessary for the stacker crane 6 to move to a temporarily placing table (transfer port) 7. At the same time, the moving distance S2 necessary for the unmanned truck 3 to move to the transfer port 7, and the truck 3 is run at a speed V2 determined as S2/T1. This results in the unmanned truck 3 having reached the position concerned, when the stacker crane 6 takes out cargo from the rack and places on said transfer port 7, which provides efficient operation of loading/unloading as well as reduction of energy consumption by unmanned transport trucks 3.
