Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent damages of road surface and loosening of tips to improve the performance of spikes in a spike tire having the pattern-negative ratio more than a predetermined value by setting the ratio of depth of driving hole including damping hole to the length of spike to a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:The depth D of a driving hole 6 including a damping hole 7 is set to less than 115% and more than 90% of the length S of a spike to be attached. Thus, the performance of spike in a spike tire having the rough tread pattern with at least 0.35 of pattern-negative ratio can be improved to restrain damages of road surface and prevent tips from disengagement.
