PLANT SUPERVISORY DEVICE

PURPOSE:To display a system picture including more detailed and appropriate information on a CRT, by fitting a coordinate input device to the CRT and monitoring the state of a plant through a summary picture during normal operations and, as occassion demands, specifying a simbol in the summary picture. CONSTITUTION:When an operator wants to see a system picture including detailed information, he touches the system part he wants to see, namely, its simbol in the summary picture with hand. Then an analog signal is transmitted from a touch screen 11 to a detector 13 through a cable 12. The detector 13 finds the X and Y coordinates of the touched point in accordance with the analog signal and transmits the coordinates to a process computer 3 through another cable 14. The process computer 3 determines the picture number corresponding to the X and Y coordinates and actuates a picture producing program. Then the computer 3 inputs the plant data to be displayed in the picture from data files and produces the designated picture, and then, displays the picture on the CRT 6 of a control board 5 through a cable 4.
