FUEL JET VALVE

An injection valve for fuel injection units for internal combustion engines is proposed which serves to inject fuel into the suction pipe. The injection valve comprises a valve housing (1) in which a core (4) is located with which an armature (5) interacts. Connected to the valve housing (1) is a nozzle body (15) with a valve seat surface (17) with which a sealing section (20) of a valve needle (6) interacts. The valve needle (6) is guided by guide sections (25, 26) in a guide bore (16) of the nozzle body (15), the guide section (26) which adjoins the sealing section (20) upstream of the latter being provided with metering ports (27). These metering ports (27) are arranged at an angle so that they produce a swirl when the valve is opened, which results in good preparation of the fuel. Impairment of the fuel metering through deposits under a sealing seat (21) is avoided by the fuel metering upstream of the valve seat surface (17).
