CONVEYOR OF CONSTRUCTION UNIT PRODUCTION LINE

PURPOSE:To enhance the manufacturing efficiency by quickly transporting construction units with a conveyor in a spacing adjusting zone furnished in a production line, wherein the spacing adjusted to optimum value, by handing over to the production line at standard transport speed, and by securing an operating space necessary for works between the units. CONSTITUTION:When the trailing edge of a construction unit 11A has passed a photosensor S3, which is included in a location sensing means 26 for a region T4, the subsequent construction unit 11B is put out by No.2 convey9or 15, wherein starting of this conveyor 15 is actuated according to command from a CPU 19, which is given on the basis of sensing by said sensor S3. Accordingly the subsequent unit 11B is transferred from conveyor 15 to 20 at a high speed V2, and transport at this speed is continued until the center of the length l1 located in the spacing setting position 28 in the region T3. This provides a space l2 between the trailing edge of the foregoing unit 11A and the leading edge of the subsequent unit 11B necessary for fitting each unit with bow windows 13 etc.
