OUTPUT-CORRECTING DEVICE FOR STAIRCASE DATA

PURPOSE:To obtain a continuous output, by estimating the trend of continuous change from one sample preceding data to that sample data, based on the result of subtraction of the one sample preceeding data from each sample value of the staircase data. CONSTITUTION:Input pulses from an input terminal 11 are supplied to an input pulse counter 12 and also to storage registers 13 and 14. Meanwhile, pulses having a measuring period T are obtained from a pulse generator 22. The pulses are delayed through monostable multivibrators 23, 24 and 25. Thus pulses P0, P1 and P2 are obtained. Outputs M1 and M2 of the storage registers 13 and 14 are supplied to a subtractor 15. Substraction of M1-M2 is carried out. The absolute value S of the difference is supplied to a frequency converting means 16, and the clock frequency of an oscillator 17 is changed. A clock CPU is supplied to an up and down counter 18. The data is inputted to the register 14. The data trend M2 is preset in the counter 18. Therefore the counter 18 performs up and down counting of the clock CP toward the data M1 at that time based on the data M2.
