Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To make a stable display by setting the period of an LCD driving waveform AC signal according to the characteristics of an LCD unit. CONSTITUTION:An M-period counter 6 inputs the latch clock CL1 of a column counter 4 as a reference clock and receives the output of the AC period register 1c of a data register 1 to output a signal M. Data corresponding to the characteristics of the LCD unit are set in an AC period register 1c. Thus, the M-period counter 6 receives the output of the dedicated AC period register 1c and the reference latch clock CL1 of the column counter 4 to operate as an independent counter, thereby setting the period of the signal M corresponding to the characteristics of the LCD unit to be controlled.
