REMOTE CONTROL UNIT OF HOT WATER SUPPLER

PURPOSE:To efficiently carry out one scanning in which a main remote control portion conducts communication with a main control portion and a remote control portion in a shortest time by setting the number corresponding to the number of the remote control portion installed in setting means provided in the main remote control portion. CONSTITUTION:An interface circuit 43 of a main remote control portion 4 successively outputs time-division codes (for example,one remote control portion is set to '01' in a digital value and another remote control portion is set to '10' in a digital value) of a kind in accordance with the number of remote control portions 5 and 6 set by a setting switch 36 to address any of the remote control portions 5 and 6 and to carry out a data communication with the main control portion 2 and all the remote control portions 5 and 6. The time required for one scanning is determined by the using number of remote control portions 5 and 6 set by the setting switch 36. The method of setting setting switch 36 is carried out in such a manner that the number of remote control portions to be used is set by a binary number by the combination of ON and OFF of switches 37-39.
