AC GENERATOR FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To improve efficiency cooling a regulator by forming an air shielding plate stopping the creeping and re-suction of hot air discharged from a discharge hole for cooling air to an end plate. CONSTITUTION:When a shaft 4 is turned and a rotor 7 is rotated, cold air is sucked from the rear direction B of a generator by a fan 2. The cold air cools a regulator 3 and a stator coil 6 and hot air is blown off in the C direction, and blown-off hot air collides with an air shielding plate 1a and disperses in the external direction of a housing 5 for the generator. Accordingly, a creeping to the rear of the generator of hot air is prevented, and only cold air from the rear collides with the regulator 3.
