DEVICE FOR SPIN COATING OF MAGNETIC PAINT TO MAGNETIC DISK

PURPOSE:To surely recover splash particles and suspended particles by integrally providing a chamber for recovering an excess paint to the outside periphery of a cylindrical cover enclosing the outside periphery of a work and forming the unit of the cover and chamber in such a manner that the unit can be divided to plural pieces at the mating plane intersecting with the central axis of the unit. CONSTITUTION:The chamber 15 for recovering the excess paint is integrally provided to the outside periphery of the cylindrical cover 14 enclosing the outside periphery of the work 13 and the unit of the cover and chamber is formed in such a manner that the unit can be divided to plural pieces on the plane intersecting with the central axis of the unit. Apertures 18-20 for introducing the external air and an annular slit 21 for introducing the excess magnetic paint and the air in the cover to the chamber from the position of the outside edge of the work are formed to the cover. Both the splash particles and suspended particles of the excess magnetic paint detached and splashed from the outside edge of the surface to be coated of the work are thereby passed through the part near the surface to be coated of the work and the slit from the apertures and is entrained in the air stream flowing toward the chamber, by which the particles are recovered into the chamber.
