CYLINDRICAL COMBUSTION IMPROVER FOR SURFACE BURNING MADE OF CERAMIC PARTICLES

PURPOSE:To provide a cylindrical combustion improver for surface burning with uniform quality, excellent durability, and low cost by tightening an end plate member having a fuel supply hole and a closing member with a connecting member in such a manner that a cylindrical body is made of ceramic particles and at both open ends said end plate and closing plate are installed. CONSTITUTION:Ceramic particles are formed into a circular ring member 7 with inorganic binders such as alumina-sol, water-glass, etc. and at one end of the member 7 a groove or a concave part 8 is formed and at the other end a tongue or a convex part 9 which is fitted into the concave part formed at the end of an adjoining ring member is provided to form a cylindrical body 1 after said members are assembled. One end of the cylindrical body opening parts is closed by a board 2 composed of ceramic or other fire-resisting material and at the other open end of the cylindrical body an end plate member 4 having a fuel supply hole 3 inside is installed. Further, as a support lever 5 installed at the center of the end plate member 4 is connected with the closing member 2 by a conjunctive fixing member 6, circular ring members 7 are firmly tightened with the end plate member 4.
