TEMPERATURE RISING METHOD FOR LOW TEMPERATURE LIQUEFIED GAS EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To prevent different gas from mixing into an equipment by using low temperature liquefied gas warmed and gasified for the pushing out and temperature rising of low temperature liquid in the equipment, and conducting the gasified gas into a low pressure equipment to collect it. CONSTITUTION:A hot up gas pipe 5 is branched from the piping 2c of a boil-off gas (BOG) compressor 4, and a hot up gas pipe 10 is done from the piping 7d of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) pipe 7. The BOG pressurized and warmed by the BOG compressor 4 warms up a pump 8 through the hot up gas pipe 5. On the other hand, the LNG is fed into a carburetor 9, and gasified gas warmed here enters the hot up gas pipe 10. Consequently, a LNG equipment can be warmed up using the gasified gas of the same kind as one used for its regular operation to prevent different gas from mixing into the equipment.
