BRAKE RELEASING DEVICE FOR MOVING TABLE

PURPOSE:To improve practicability, by constituting a brake releasing device of a moving table, used for a movable part or the like in an industrial robot, so that a spline hub, engaged with an armature applying a brake, can be easily released from the engagement by controlling a knob. CONSTITUTION:A device, in which a moving table is moved along a sliding rail 9 by rotating a ball thread, provides a brake part in a rotary shaft 7 connected with a shaft end of the ball thread. Said brake part is constituted of a spline hub 10 movably provided in the axial direction through a key 11 in a shaft end of the rotary shaft 7, armature 12 enabled to mesh with said spline hub 10, fixed and movable friction plates 13, 14 enabled to be adapted to the armature 12, compression springs 15... urging the friction plate 14 to a side of the armature 12, etc. And an electromagnetic coil 17, when it is placed in a deenergized condition, provides a condition that a brake is applied, here the device, lifting the above described hub 10 by a knob 18 to disengage the armature 12, enables the moving table to be moved.
