Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To increase the output power of engine and enhance the rate of fuel consumption by introducing new air forcedly into the suction passage upstream a pressure wave supercharger in the engine operating condition in which the rate of exhaust feedback is high, and by lowering the rate of exhaust feedback without causing drop of the max. car speed. CONSTITUTION:Suction temp. T2 given by a temp. sensor 15 is compared with the upper temp. limit Tmax for the supercharging suction gas and specified value Ts located in its neighborhood. If T2>Tmax, the exhaust gas fed back to the suction passage 2 from exhaust passage 4 via a pressure wave supercharger 5 is judged to have a high rate of exhaust feedback, and a control valve 11 is opened to introduce new air to suction passage 2 upstream the supercharger 5.
