PURPOSE:To quickly and satisfactorily realize line junction by detecting that junction reaches the wanted strength from downward movement of capillary chip and by moving upward the capillary chip when it reaches the preset value. CONSTITUTION:A capillary chip 1 moves downward owing to a motor 13. Then, distance h is measured by reflecting the light emitted from the sensor 10 by the plate 9. An output signal of sensor 10 is compared with preset proper downward movement 12. When they match, a decision output is input to the control circuit 12, and the control circuit 15 drives a motor 13 in order to immediately shift upward the capillary chip 1. Thereby, the junction time is saved and simultaneously reliability of junction can also be acquired.
