Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To economize fuel consumption so as to prevent noise generated in an engine by deciding the transmission ratio in a continuously variable transmission in response to the load factor and controlling a control valve so as to obtain said transmission ratio, thereby lowering the engine speed in comparison with the engine speed obtained in case that the load factor is not applied. CONSTITUTION:A load factor sensor 22 is provided so as to detect the ON/OFF of a load factor against said load factor which is the driving force of an engine, such as an air conditioner or power steering for transmitting the signal thereof to a transmission ratio decision means. When the operation of an engine brake is detected and the ON input signal of the load factor is transmitted to the transmission ratio decision means 20, the transmission ratio is decided by substracting the load of the load factor from an engine load through the transmission ratio decision means 20 and, in order to obtain transmission ratio, a transmission ratio contral valve 9 is controlled, and thereby the transmission is operated from a high ratio to a low ratio. |
