SWASH PLATE TYPE COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To prevent generation of a noise due to increase of a thrust gap in a part, where a seat surface is brought into contact with a bearing race, by giving a slope in a radial direction to the boss part seat surface of a swash plate, so that the seat surface is placed more distant from the bearing race toward the axial center, and decreasing wearing of a contact surface of the seat surface with the bearing race. CONSTITUTION:If a swash plate type compressor is operated, thrust force, generated by reaction force of compressed gas in a cylinder bore, acts on thrust bearings 5, 5' generating elastic deformation of the thrust bearings 5, 5'. Here swash plate boss part seat surfaces 2a, 2a', 3a, 3a', adapted to races 1 (5a, 5a') races 2 (5b, 5b'), are given the same angle with a flection angle theta of the races 1, 2 in the operation under a pressure condition of high frequent use, causing a contact area with the races 1, 2 to increase. In this way, the compressor, decreasing a surface pressure in this part and reducing wearing, prevents generation of a noise due to increase of a thrust gap.
