METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING TEMPERATURE

PURPOSE:To control temp. in heat treating furnace with a high accuracy, by detecting respective combustion region temps. at every plural burners to feed back control it and limit control combustion region temp. at raising or lowering temp. CONSTITUTION:A furnace body 10 inside is divided to two chambers by a partition plate 12, the plural burners 24b are set in one burning chamber 16, and heating materials 20 reciprocated on many rollers 22 are heat treated in the other heat treating chamber 14 in batch type heat treating furnace. Therein, respective combustion region temps. are feed back controlled so that the temps. detected by thermocouples 26b arranged opposedly to each burner 24b are fixed. Further the aimed combustion region temp. feed back controlled as described above is decided, so that furnace inside temp. detected by a thermocouple 18a set to the chamber 14 becomes to the aimed furnace inside temp. At raising or lowering temp., at the time point when the furnace inside temp. is attained to a fixed temp. range preset to < the aimed furnace inside temp., above described aimed burning range temp. is limited to a predetermined fixed value.
