INFORMATION REPRODUCING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To set the order of reproduction at random by selecting one of recording medium exclusive of recording media which are not existing by a random number and selecting one of information group by the random number only when the number of recorded information groups and recorded position are known. CONSTITUTION:When a random selection mode is designated, a controller 9 reads address information extracted by a data extracting circuit 8, and compares it with address information stored previously. When a music being played is terminated, one of disk number exclusive of those which are stored as unexistent disks is selected by a random number generating circuit 10. One of information group is selected by the circuit 10 only when the number of pcs. of information recorded on the selected disk and recorded position are already known. Then, presence of selected recording medium is judged, and when it exists, it is detected and stored only when the number of information groups and recorded position are unknown, and the information group is selected and reproduced. In such a way, order of reproduced pieces of music can be set at random.
