Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To improve the sharpness of an X-ray image through the prevention of scattering of light on the surface of the phosphor, by incorporating a yellow- or orange-colored metal sulfide in a terbium-activated rare earth oxysulfide phosphor which emits light upon being irradiated with X-rays. CONSTITUTION:A terbium-activated rare earth oxysulfide phosphor which emits light upon being irradiated with X-rays is blended with a yellow- or orange- colored metal sulfide (e.g. CdS).
