Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To reduce the influence to the traveling performance accompanied by the switching by installing a means for detecting the brake application state continuing for a prescribed time or more and releasing the front/rear-wheel direct-connection state by the detection signal and operating an antiskid brake system (ABS). CONSTITUTION:A clutch 45 for 2-4 wheel switching is operated by a direct- connection releasing modulator 13, and a controller 14 controls the slip rate of a wheel on the basis of the signal of a speed sensor 56a, etc. When the brake operation state continuing for a prescribed time or more is detected by a brake application state detecting means 11 and a brake operation time judging means 16, switching to 2-wheel drive is performed by the direct- connection releasing modulator 13, and ABS is operated after the switching. Since the releasing switching of the front/rear-wheel direct-connection state is carried out only when the brake operation continues for a prescribed time or more, the influence to the traveling performance due to the switching can be reduced. |
