PROTECTIVE PAPER INSERTING METHOD WHEN STACKING METAL PLATES

PURPOSE:To insert the protective paper continuously, efficiently, and correctly between upper and lower metal plates when stacking metal plates having the fixed length and width by providing a shaft wound with the lengthy protective paper between guide rails and moving the shaft. CONSTITUTION:To insert the protective paper, first a shaft 4 is moved on guide rails 1, 2, the protective paper 5 wound on the shaft 4 is unwound and spread on the bottom. Then, after a metal plate (a) cut in a fixed size is mounted, the shaft 4 is moved in the reverse direction, and the surface of the metal plate (a) is covered with the protective paper 5. Then, the metal plate (a) is stacked on the covering protective paper 5, next the shaft 4 is again moved to cover the uppermost metal plate (a) with the protective paper 5. In this method, the insertion work of the protective paper 5 when stacking metal plates can be performed efficiently and smoothly, productivity is improved, and metal plates in a good stacking condition can be obtained.
